Re: oil question
Not at all! Pennzoil is a very good dino oil, it uses a group 2+ base oil, which is the best base oil you are gonna find in the conventional oils. If I was going to run dino oil it would be either Pennzoil or Castrol GTX most likely.

Re: oil question
great also it is a godd idea to change oil at 500 miles and then agian at 3000 then every 200 after that right? the reason i thought pennzoil was bad cuase it was half laess then mobil 1 sytehetic and i thought modile 1 is what you would use. and what would be the best gas to use for a z28, i am currentyl useing 93.
thanks sorry so sloppy really really busy.

Re: oil question
Yes, changing the oil frequently at the beginning is good, to get all the break in particles out of there.
Mobil 1 is better than any dino oil, however if you're going to change your oil every 2 or 3k there is no need to go with a synthetic really. If you go with Mobil 1, to get your money's worth out of it's higher cost, go to at least a 5 or 6k oil change interval, or more. This oil can handle that interval with ease.

Re: oil question
I've bee using sythetic for years. The OEM says not to use dino oil because it is disigned for cars with higher clearances where LS! engince have close tolerences....therefore, do not use dino oils!!!!
I change every 3K, however. These oils turn black faster than conventional oils but they last longer.
