Default TR220 questions

I am thinking about the TR220°/.561”/114° cam. Will it set any codes with stock programming (maybe the idle and limiter bumped). I would like to be able to pass emmissions w/o jumping through hoops, and this is my daily driver.

Never had any codes set due the cam. Did not really have do much for the idle either (M6). It does like a higher rev limit. I have been daily driving with the cam for over 10k miles.

Chuck,

There's people passing in CA with much tougher restrictions with that cam. You'll be fine. If you're concerned just get O2 simulators. Then your car will read normal no matter what when they check for codes. They don't do sniffer tests on new cars.

There's people passing in Texas with 230-112 cams on a 112 LSA with no cats b/c they have O2 sims. Either way, that is a very mild cam. You ** may ** set a few misfire codes but it won't cause a problem.

Good luck,

Chris

In an A4 car, if you drilled a small hole in the TB blade to raise the idle... would it work with stock programing as well ?

Thanks everyone, I went ahead and ordered it today. That and a set of TTS headers.
