Lifter or Pushrod

Lifter or Pushrod I have tapping around the #3 cylinder. I'm guessing it is probably a lifter that is stuck or a bent pushrod. I probably won't know until it's pulled apart anyways. Planning to get a cam put in within the next month or so, along with pushrods and valve springs. I have suffered power loss and loss in gas mileage, along with some KR during acceleration. Would like to know if anyone has any information on any other things I can look for before getting these parts pulled out. I'd hate to get the cam installed, along with the valve springs and pushrods, then find out I have to get new lifters or something.

It would be a good idea to replace them anyway. Even if your lifters aren't damaged, it's still cheap insurance. Let me know...
