Stage 3 heads
<strong>would a set of stage 3 heads pass emissions here in texas, ive really been looking at a set of ls6 stage 3 ported heads mostlikley from mti since theyre right here in houston</strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Its not the heads you need to worry about its the codes your engine may throw.We dont have to do the sniffer anymore at least not around here.I would go satge 3 heads as that is a bit overkill for stock displacement and will hurt more than help in almost all cases.Stick with the stage 2 heads.Your car shouldnt throw any codes just by switching heads though wasnt trying to scare you.If you plan on getting a stroker in the future then or F/I go for the stage 3 heads but if not stay away from them.
