Re: Carbon Removal Ive removed many heads at the dealership i work for, and since lexus uses only aluminum heads, i have a little experience... i usually just use a small wire brush and either parts wash or top engine cleaner... That usually works out pretty good...

Re: Carbon Removal Thanks, I was going to try that but I was a little worried about scratching the aluminum. I guess when you think about it head porters polish the chamber. I'll just try to avoid the sealing areas and go after it by hand.
