the temps are cooling up around here to like low 60's and i noticed a little whitish type smoke coming from exhaust while the car is warming up. You know, kinda like what you see when its really cold out and cars are just warming up.
i did the sniffer test and it smells like fuel(normal exhaust smell)
but i guess with offroad pipe, headers, and cam this should be normal. Oil use is normal and on atap my temps stayed around 198-201(normal)
i just freaking cause a blown head gaskey had crossed my mind, but things were fine yesterday when it was warmer. Havent driven the car since then either.

I used to have a Camaro with Dart heads on it when I would start it up in cold weather it would smoke like a freight train! You would think it was blown up.But as soon as the engine warmed up it was fine.I think there is way more clearence in an aluminum head untill they get to operating temps.

I figured it was condensation in the exhaust pipes, but I still check the coolant level after the car cooled down. I get the exact same thing as well. I freaked when I first saw it (it had been almost a month since I installed the cam and heads. I just KNEW it was a coolant leak due to blown head gaskets, but sure enough it warmed up and was fine. The weather was warm after that and never saw it again until the next semi cool morning. I, for one, would be very interested in knowing what is happening when it does this? It can take close to 10 minutes before it stops 'smoking' completely (well after the car has hit the 190 mark). Curiosity is eatting me up as to the cause! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

My car has been doing that ever since I put on headers and ORP; even during the summer months. No cam yet, just breathing exhaust. It goes away within 10 minutes so I always assumed it was OK. But I would like to know too what it is...
