Re: pistons all stock ls1 engines maybe.........there are many manufactures that have used and continue to use forged pieces. Such as the 5.0's from I think 87-91 or so had forged pistons.........But yes stock ls1 pistons are very much not forged.......

Re: pistons When I pulled my stock pistons out I noticed they had "Mahle" stamped in them. So I looked it up. They are the manufacture. Here is link. http://www.mahleinc.com/
