What would be the max horsepower out of a 346ci Solid Roller?
[QB]I am just checking all options.. I still have to try my new cam <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> I am just time limited on the install. I could drop the new cam in this week,
New cam what the hell you cant do that <img border="0" alt="[Banging Head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" /> Now look what you did looks like I might have to buy a new cam or atleast a custom tune before Oct. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" /> It will be here before we know it. You will love the spray if you get some <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
Barring what? Money?
How about a Vic Jr style intake to provide the necessary airflow and high RPM capability.
How about C5R heads setup to move 400CFM on the intake side with a nice 2.15" intake valve.
How about the 14:1 CR and one off tuned headers for this endeavor? How about a tuner brand 950 HP series Holley on the top? ( Ooops I didn't mean to say carb ).
Alternively a specialized intake manifold able to move 400CFM with large plenum and properly modded electronics. ( Going to need to be able to fuel and ignite power in the 8500 rpm range ).
I don't see why 800HP engine couldn't be achieved. There are some 350 ish motors putting out 900HP with tunnel rams, etc at very high rpm.
