Default Reading through the comp cams install guide......

I am going to buy a set of MTI stage 2 heads this week if all goes well....I am running an "X1" cam with these heads...I was reading through the instructions and it says if you are running double valvesprings (which these heads have) that you should remove the inner spring for proper break in...

Is this completely necessary??

Not necessary that procedure is for flat tappet cams not roller cams. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
