TR220 or TR224 on a 114 center
What would the differences be? I want to pass inspection, so a 114 center is a must. How much rougher does the 224 idle, and does the 220 really sound stock? Thunder said that the 220 gives up ~10 peak hp to the 224, and shift point would be ~300 rpm lower (6300 vs. 6600). Does this all sound right? What are your experiences and suggestions?
The car is an '01 T/A M6 with normal bolt ons, and TTS long tubes with cats have been ordered.

The 224 is a more powerful Cam.The difference is minimul.(maybe 8-10hp tops)I shift at 6400-6600.I personaly picked the 220 to make sure I can pass strict emission testing I have in Mass.
You could always install an underdrive pulley to make up the differences of the Cams <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Re: TR220 or TR224 on a 114 center
The TR 220 114 is a very good street cam. If you plan to shift at 6300, the 220 will meet your needs and not leave you wondering about emissions.
Gains from the 224 will be less than 10 HP. Comparable idle quality for the 224 can be achieved at 50 rpm higher than the idle used for the 220.
