Was that $3950 just for the heads or did that include the cam?

That would be just for the heads! The cam is probably another $400.

Total = 4750. He said 3990 plus 1250 core so maybe there was computer tuning in there too? That runs $400 to $500 and would put it right around there. You can get $400 to $500 back for LS1 heads if you sell them. Still a pricey endeavor for an extra 15 to 20 hp so I went with the S2 LS1 heads. I was going to get the C2 cam but I think everyone has talked me into the X1. Emissions should be fun.

what do you mean by an extra 15 to 20 hp. Bajeesus! I must have just bolted on over a 100 at the tires. Maybe I am a little confused by what you said though. Yeah and with this cam you can forget passing the sniffer test. Hope they have OBDII in your area soon!

They are in the industrial area of Totem Lake in Kirkland. They are a bit more expensive than anyone else but they also cater to the Viper and Ferrari crowds. They also owe me one from the last time I was there, when they couldnt get my stick pulley off the car. But make no mistake about it, these boys know what they are doing. Alex there is a very "Good" guy to know, especially when it comes to.....emmi........Carb connections a good place for "tuning".

I mean LS1 vs LS6 heads, with stock bore I've been told 15 to 20 rwhp diff. For beyond that they're well worth it, but at this point I don't see myself boring. OK maybe I'm boring, but I won't be boring the engine!
