Cam install questions
Cam install questions I'm about to install a cam this weekend and I've seen different post explaining step by step how to go about doing this and everything needed. But I did a search and now I can't find anything. So, do any of you guys know where I can find one of these post/sites? I'm kinda nervious about trying to do this by myself so I'll gladly listen to any advice. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> I've changed several cams, but never on an LS1.

Re: Cam install questions One of the best suggestions I've heard is to take lotsa pictures (from all angles) before teardown.

Re: Cam install questions Pretty straight forward.. obviously you`re techically inclined if you`ve changed cams before so it shouldn`t be a problem. I did mine on a Sat. no problems... Much easier than an LT1. Whenever I work on the car I get zip lock bags to keep bolts marked and seperated.

get some pen magnets..
use them like this.

lock tite on the cam bolts for added security.

Re: Cam install questions Thanks for the info guys! I ended up buy a Comp Cam from IRS. specs are the same as the TR224 224/224 .561/.561 112 What is the difference in these two cams?
