stangkiller - Give me a call and we can dicuss some custom prices. It matters what you are looking for, dish, flat tops or dome. Prices are different for each. If you want to talk about these pistons just give me a ring.
y2khawk - I will see you sometime this weekend for sure, I would bet. Not sure if I am going to make it to the event this week end at Ubly, but I would bet that if I don't I will see you sometime after midnight on Groesbeck or downtown. I should have my car in tow with me this weekend, looking for some action. Talk to you later.
Thanks,
Chris Gelineau

sscam68 - Our off the shelf replacement pistons for the LS1 cost $570 w/wrist pins. The custom pistons run $76.60 each for dish pistons and $72.90 each for flat top pistons. Right now we are running about 3 weeks on custom pistons. Let me know if I can help you with anything.
Thanks,

Lunati, JE and Wiesco all seem to have different definitions of "stock"
Also, what is the recommended maximum nitrous load for your shelf stock pistons?

Aircooled - Here are the spec's for our #11500 replacement pistons for the LS1.
Weight - 404 grams
C/D - 1.340
Bore - 3.905
Stroke - 3.622
Rod - 6.098
Wrist pin - .945 x 2.500
Flat top piston with -2cc's valve reliefs
Material - 2618
With these pistons we do not recommend that you spray it with over 200hp. If you are going to hit it with more than 200hp or 200hp very often, you are most likely going to need a custom piston from us. If you have any more questions please feel free to give me a call. Here is our toll free number 877-552-2112. I am in the office from 8am-5pm eastern standard time, Monday-Friday.
Thanks,
Chris Gelineau

This is great. I will eventually be doing a complete rebuild on my LS1, stock bore & stroke for a road racing application. I want to utilize a set of Carillo 6.2" long rods for the engine. I now know where to come for pistons.
Sounds great guys, good prices too...

Thanks Tom for posting some pictures of our pistons that went into your engine. Also for anyone else that would be interested, we do coatings for the pistons just like what you see on Tom's. Tom's pistons are a set of our customs. They are big bore LS1 pistons. Thanks again Tom, I will see you sometime this weekend.
