ok so i gotta get a mail order tune for the time cause i got to pass emissions in a few weeks. i figured since all tune mods are the same price where im getting it from i might as well get the idle changed too just to give it a little rumble. what do you think i could turn it down to and still not stall it or mess up anything?

Is this just a mail order tune for bolt-ons, or a cam? If its just for bolt-ons a mail order tune isnt going to help you pass emissions, unless you just doing it to delete the rear o2s. And why would you want to lower the idle?

yes it is for bolt on. there are no tuning shops even remotly close to me and i have to get the rear o2 code deleted or i wont pass. i figure if i lower the idle it will have a slight chop as compared to what it has stock. but if not i will just leave it.

i would just leave the idle. and lowering it, is not going to make it sound choppy.
