??HELP??

I am about to buy a 2001 TA WS6. I am trying to get into the whole engine mod thing. Can someone explain about cams. Power gains, sound changes ,etc....

2001 Trans Am WS6... Nice choice! M6 or A4? that would be a good place to start in discussing different power levels or driveability to be expected from different camshaft choices.
