Default H/C setup???

I'll be installing some Stage II heads, cam and some LT headers soon and I had a question concerning the TC. My WS6 is an A4 and I was wondering if it's going to be a problem to leave the stock convertor in for awhile until I get the money to get a higher stall (3200)with a trans cooler. I know I'm going to loose some HP/TQ, but is it going screw the stock TC up?

Anyone have any thoughts or have this type of setup on an A4?

If your PCM is preprogramed for the higher stall, that would be the only problem you would have. The shift points will hit much harder but that about it. You will sacrifice track performance for the most part but the last stock stalled stock geared WS6 we did with a full S2 package went 11.90 at 117MPH so it's not all that bad! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

My PCM is stock configuration. I will be getting it dyno tuned when I'm finished installing all the parts (Heads/Cam/Headers). My concern was the stock convertor. I know I'll loose a little performance with the convertor being stock, but I didn't know if it would hold up with all the new bolt ons. So what your saying is it should be fine with the new bolt ons and stock convertor.
