Stroke - Stock and 4.000 stroker
Rod Length - 6.125, 6.200, 6.250
Wrist pin diameter - Stock SBC .927
Chamber volume - Flat tops with valve reliefs for N/A, probably -18 to -20 inverted dome for Blower
Intake diameter - for stock engines 2.055, for modified large bore 2.08
Exhaust diameter - 1.6 that's really as big as they go.
Use for engine - Drag, Street, Little bit of both
Both.
If you can do the designs with nice thick piston decks so we can throw some power at them, but also look at weight. If they are for a stock NA motor with out N2O then they need to handle 550hp and be light, on N2O obviously they are a different piston then. I'm a fan of short skirts to reduce drag. The rings lands should be made to fit 1/16 1/16 3/16 rings on a stock overbore. Or .043 .043 3/16 rings for those who want to go that route.
Hey, I'm more than willing to add my imput.
Bret
Ryan, Thanks for your input also.

Bret, Thanks for the imput. Any reason you wouldn't want to use the 1.5/1.5/3mm ring stack? On a street engine we do not recommend using the .043 rings, just due to ring life. If you are racing it then the .043's are a good way to go. If there is anything that we can do for you let me know.

First let me get to the last post. Yes a stock bore would be nice, because most only need a deglaze, but the cost to do it more is not that much and you can get a better cross hatch, but only if you check the surface finish roughness, most places can't do this so, don't worry about it.
Well I guess the reason I dont like the stock 1.5 1.5 3.0 is because Total Seal doesn't have a gapless ring pack for that. That's what I use and i will stick with them on everything, maybe if you have some ones turned to size on the shelf as blanks and just finish them off by putting in the valve reliefs and ring grooves that would be awesome.
If you want the exact piston I would use it would be.
3.905 Bore, 3.622 Stroke, 6.250 Rod, .927 Pin, 1/16, 1/16 3/16 Total Seal Ring Pack, all up tight to the top of the deck and made for N/A applications. On top of that, I want really short skits and some extra weight taken out of the piston, now if those would retail for $700 that would be awesome! That would be my rebuild piston.

Chris, I have your e-mail from earlier this week. I will get ahold of you next week sometime and we can talk about this further.
Great way to get started! Give the people what they want.
We are looking to put togther a few of the following combinations
4.080" Bore
4.000: Stroke
6.125" Rod Length
1.125" compression height
12cc dish
Oil ring suppport
Accumulator ports
2618 alloy
As soon as cc the heads for that supercharger truck we spoke about I'll detail out a piston design and send you an order!

And a much better selection.
And 4.060 bore with a 4" stroke is 414".
