Heard from a friend today if I install the MTI C2 cam that I have to have custom computer tuning or a hypertech PP3 at best. Is this true??
I ordered the special on this site and MTI didn't say anything about having this done.

Are you M6 or A4? With an M6 it definitely isn't required. With an A4 you will most likely be satified with just a little enlargeing of the throttle body blade airhole.

this guy also said that I would have to enlarge the throttle body. but since I have a m6 I don't have to....sweet. any other suprises other than the install itself i should worry about

Well, it's not actually enlargeing the throttle body. It's just drilling out the hole that is in the blade of the throttle body to allow more air to pass the blade when it's shut (idle.)

Jayson at MTI brought my idle up to 900rpm's with LS1 Edit. Idles great with little or no surges.
Peace,
Craig.
