Re: is z06 cam worth the install???? no,the cam is worth 10 to 12 hp. all the work that cam is not worth it. my bud has the thunder racing 220 cam it made a big difference and his car drives like stock,gained 3tenths too.i have the mti hammer cam GREAT power and it still drives like stock. there is a lot of good cams out so do some research and choose your needs. goodluck to ya.
Re: is z06 cam worth the install???? Im going with the 02 ZO6 cam, with unported LS6 heads, with a set of 1.8 roller rockers. That with the basic bolt-ons, I know I will be in good shape. Then later im gona get the heads ported, and a new bottom end. <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" /> With just the unported set up what numbers do you think I will put up <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Re: is z06 cam worth the install???? stang: What are the base durations on the '02 LS6 cam? You could wind up w/ ramps too steep to use w/ 1.8 rockers (at least not w/out inducing more valve float).
