gm lifter preload

when you are checking the length of the pushrods how much preload is needed on the lifters i know all the roller cams i put in the turbobuicks they like between .030 and .035 preload on the lifters
any help would be great

so is it .050 or it that the lifter total travel some people are telling me 2 turns till 22ftp which is more the .050
