gm lifter preload

gm lifter preload when you are checking the length of the pushrods how much preload is needed on the lifters i know all the roller cams i put in the turbobuicks they like between .030 and .035 preload on the lifters
any help would be great

Re: gm lifter preload so is it .050 or it that the lifter total travel some people are telling me 2 turns till 22ftp which is more the .050
