going with a new motor next season I am going to add a stroker to my ARE H/C package. I think I will go with an ARE 382 with JE nitrous pistons maybe 10.5:1-11.0:1
forged crank and rods
iron block
either Nx or TnT 150-250 wet or direct port with ARE intank walboro pump, ram chargers timing box
RAM 910 disk
BMr or ARE k-member
What do you all think? I should be able to hit 10s easily, I hope! I also want to do a H/C on the 1998 Z28 A4. I would like to use a different shop than ARE though; not because I don't like ARE, I just want to try someone elses products. The car must pass emissions so I am thinking maybe GTP stage 2 Ls1 heads and a MTI B1 cam. I would like to try the TR224 or TR230 but I don't think they will pass our sniffer test. Add a SPeedinc. xtreme stage 3 race 4l60E and a Vig 3200 stall.
