B1 owners inside
I'm finally going to put a cam in my car, and I chose a B1, actually got a killer deal. My Z has dynoed 336rwhp and 338rwtq with my SLP LT's and other little things (Lid, 3.42's,Free Mods, no pulleys) I'm trying to see what kinda gain I'll see. Keep in mind though I still have stock intake,TB. Also I'm not doing the tuning right away. I have a HPP3, what can I do with that to help the car. Should I change the limiter or shift points(A4), if so to what? I need some help.

I am about to crank my motor with this same cam when I get it back together this weekend...
Since you do have a Hpp3, definately bump up the rev limiter and shift points. This cam is going to make power a good bit higher than stock, so raise you're rev limiter to 6600(highest the hpp3 will go). Set your shift points for ~6400, and that should squeeze the most out of it for what you got. Good luck...

With stock heads my B1 cam made peak HP around 6400 RPM. Based on this I would set the rev limiter to at least 6600 RPM for a margin of error. You may need a MAFT for tweaking but I would rather see you use LS1_Edit. Be sure and get the LS6 intake since it breathes well at this RPM and you might as well add an ASP pulley while you have your old one off!
