Default 6.0L heads question

I am able to get the whole 6.0L core out of a truck including heads real cheap.
I have planned on doing a cam swap in my car with stock heads but this has come up.
My question is that what has to be changed on the 6.0l heads to work with my 5.7. I know that I have to mill the heads down to get near stock compression but do I need to get different springs than the 918's for the 5.7. Also would I now need a bigger cam (I plan on the TR224)??
Thanks in advance. If I am not clear on something please let me know and I will clarify..

You would be better off porting those things and having them milled.
The 918's will work.

The 6.0L heads are very good for porting, I can give you the name of a very good head porter to send them too. I would go with less cam if it was me ust to pick up the bottom end more and stay with in 5-10hp of the 224. I would rather have 30 more ft lbs than 10 hp anyday.

Bret how did you do in Engine challenge? My great friend Joe Sherman out in Southern Cali. made 613 hp and 525ft, lbs with his Small block Chevy! I was extremely impressed and i think he may have taken the prize. <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" />
