I am getting ready to go my cam swap , but I have never worked on one of these cars before . I am not stupid to cars by no mean. I just dont want to fck this up. Is there anyone in the Central Illinois area that has done this and maybe willing to give me some help.

 

I'm in Springfield and know a few people from one of the local boards. What city are you in and I'll see if I can hook you up.

 

I am in champaign Illinois not to far from you . I dont want some to just up and do all the work , but it would be awsome to have someone there that has done this .

 

other then the valve springs & the possibility of a lifter falling i thought it was a fairly easy swap. im sure someone in your area will be willing to help ya.

 

Theres a good shop in MO, about 30 minutes into it. Called Redline...Basically all they do is Fbodies/ls1 stuff. They have an inhouse tuner, and dyno. Good people, and they really really stand behind their work.
