Default Greetings, Advice needed on H/C bottom end

Greetings and salutations!

My name is greg and I am a modaholic looking to induldge my addiction. The last month or so I have been lurcking about trying to learn as much as possible about my options. The top end is decided upon (see sig). I am looking for as close to bullet proof as I can get.

I hope to keep compression 10.5 to 10.8:1. I need to call Larry and see which heads he was planning on using 5.3L or 5.7L, I would prefer 5.7 so as to keep the CR low enough that detonation wont become an issue.

I am thinking about 30# inj to avoid leaning out and over working my 26# injectors. Is a TR ported TB going to do much for me? Cost?

The car has 28,000 miles. I do not plan on spraying the car, however I would like to beef up the bottom end. I understand that Speed Inc/TR carries:

JE flat top forged pistons $600
JE ring set $179
Lunati pro rod w/ upgraded bolts $700

How much would it cost to install the above and polish/balance the stock crank? While I am in this deep whould I go whole hog and increase stroke or is this even an option? I am doing the bottom end for peace of mind. I plan on doing this once. Any suggestions? What is going to be my weak link? I plan on 3.73s or 3.90s in the future.

Thanks in advance

Greg
