Help!
I think I may have broken something...not sure what it is. Last night out of nowhere I started getting a very audible TICK. It seems to be coming from the bottom of the engine...I have hooker long tubes, so I figured it might be the header bolts backing out or something like that. I looked around the headers and didn't have any black soot around them. Any idea? What else could it be? Spun bearing? bent pushrod? I got on it a few times and don't seem to have lost any power...just sounds horrible.

Re: Help!
How long ago did you put those headers on? I bet its the air pump "flutter" valves...My 99 made a ticking noise about 2 weeks after my header install. It was the valves. Can you get a sound clip?

Re: Help!
Headers have been on for a couple of months now. I know what the air pump flutter sounds like and I don't "think" that's it...sounds like it's coming from the bottom end.. Hmmm...
