have a 2006 1500HD LQ4 6.0 I got a comp cam wich specs are
270/276 advertised duration with 218/224 at .050. The lobe lift is 300/300 and it has a 114 lobe separation with a 4 degree advance.

what am i looking at as far as tuninng will i need to or can i drive it around untill i get some cash to tune it, will i have to worry about any thing like springs........

 

Not a real giant cam, but would at least get a set of ls6 springs for it, as for the tune, you may be borderline, and would be greater benefits with the cam if it were tuned...
