Timing chain slack issues.....need help......

Hi,
You need to change the timing chain gears to get a tight fit. A Katech chain running on Cloyes Hex-A-Just gears is tight even after 2000 miles.

Default Timing chain slack issues.....need help......

Installed my new JWISS chain today, and this thing is looser than stock (which was rediculiously loose to begin with, IMO). If you take the slack out of one side completely, the other side has ~3/8"-1.2" side-to-side slack in it. Is this normal? Won't this alow my cam to be out of time to some degree? Isn't this a big deal with a 230/224? Thanks, Shawn

PS The motor has ~2100 miles on it.
