[B]Help with finding the perfect cam!!!!!!!![/B] I have a 2000 T/A,mods in signature, i want the perfect cam to fit my driving!! I want something that will make huge power like at 3500 rpm!!! Like feel slow until it hits 3500 rpms then kick like i hit nitrous!!!! I daily drive my car and on the weekends drive 100 miles to see my girlfriend and then drive 100 miles back!!! So i want it to be a reliable cam but with great power!!! It dont have to drive perfect on the street!!! Just on the highway crusing at 70!!!! And i also want it to idle like crazy like it wants to die!!! Really rough and choppy!!!!! Dont mind how big the stall is as long as it aint too bad for the street!!!! Also plan on putting a FAST 90/90 setup on it, then the cam and in the future a set of heads!!!! So does anyone know of any cams that will fit my needs or do i need to got one custom ground and if so any specs that would make the custom ground cam just right?????
Depends on how big you want to go. I would go with something with a 110-113 lsa, that would give you the powerband you are looking for. My 230/224 is on a 111 lsa, and makes around 320wtq at 3000rpm. I would talk with your tuner and see what he thinks. You dont want the car to surge at low rpms while you are on the highway cruising.
