Flat or dished pistons?
I am going to be using 5.7 GTP heads.
Expected compression ratio 10.8:1. Will this be close to detonation territory? If so would dished pistons be the best. I understand that flat tops give the most efficient burn. I plan on upgrading my 26# inj to 30 # blue tops. What are the performance/reliablity pros and cons of each.
BTW I do not plan on NOS or forced induction. Reliability is the most important issue to me.
I am thinking of diamond or JE. I assume they are both forged.
Thanks in advance,
GREg
