Re: LS1 vs LS6 I think you've got the generalities. Head castings,valves and attending stuff, cam, different computer software, clutch and different transmission gearing,..... The intake has been common for the last couple years as has the block so we hear. I'm not sure about the exhaust manifolds but the catback is different on the Z06. I've run out of gray cells........

Re: LS1 vs LS6 rods and crank are the same. I wouldnt fool with the pistons. They are too similar to worry about. If changing pistons, I would go aftermarket.
only notable differences in an LS1 and LS6 is the heads, and cam.
