need help!
Last night I got my motor finished and put in and started it up. It sounds awesome all the work was done right! I got new pistons, rings, bearings, cam, intake, pushrods, p&p heads, 918 springs, asp crank pully and headders. Well it ran perfect I let it run for about 15 min for the first time with some cheap oil in it, the shut it off to change the oil and to check all the wires make sure there were no burns everything was fine. But for some reason the new coolant temp sensor (cts) doesnt have the correct connetor for my plug I have a 2000 if anyone knows why they would be diff. Well Also while the car was running the oil press gauge is completly pegged while running or whil off and in the run poss, but if i turn it to acc. with the car off it will go down to around 65-70? So that also might be a problem, also to get the fans to shut off due to them running constanly due to the cts being absent We pulled the relays well one cracked and broke but it didnt mess up the internals so it should be fine for now. Well I wentto start it back up and no go it wont start it is getting fuel and it is turning over but for some reason I dont think it is getting spark all of a sudden, I am only pulling 2 codes for my egr, and my airpump, both of which are removed, so no unusal codes, What could be the problem, why is the oil press so high? Why wont the car start now? What should I do? I think the problem is electrical due to the motor ran fine until I shut it off so i dont think it is mechanical but who knows?
