Question cam question.....

Some opinions from you guys would be appreciated.....

What do you think of the following setup as far as a strong, reliable, and stock-like drivability head/cam setup for my 99 m6 ws6 bolt-on car:

-afr 205 heads milled to 61 cc
-cometic 0.040" head gaskets
-LPE GT2-3 cam
-LS6 intake
-qtp 1 3/4 headers and offroad ypipe
-ported stock throttlebody
-asp underdrive pulleys
-directflo lid
-corsa exhaust
-stock rear 3.42 gears

I am looking for a nice boost in useable power with excellent stock-like drivability as well as a smooth idle and a near-stock rev limit. Dyno numbers are not important, just an enjoyable sunday cruising car for the girlfriend and I with the ability to lay some smack down when needed. A visit to the track maybe once a year as well at the most.

I would check 216/220 .525.532 .114 comp cam

the big decision will be if you want 25K spring changes or not. The cam you picked and one listed should have long spring life.

P.S. The heads are overkill.
