Oil On #7 Sparkplug
Oil On #7 Sparkplug The topic pretty much covers it.
This is what I am leaning towards, any other suggestions would be very helpful.
Valveguide

The car does not smoke at WOT.
Blowby does not seem to be an issue, but my PCV does move some oil.
Slight oil film in intake.
Wee bit'o smoke at idle.
What gets me, is that there is a good portion of oil on the plug. I would figure only a ring could push that much oil up into the plug threads. Has anybody ever seen this from a very very crappy valve guide?
Any suggestions?

Re: Oil On #7 Sparkplug Maybe the rings lined up on that cylinder? Try a leak down test and see whats up.Could your ported heads be leaking oil thru rocker arm bolt threads? Just an idea. Also i have found pcv oiling is cylinder specific in intake manifold.This is because of inner design of intake and pcv vacuum port placement.

Re: Oil On #7 Sparkplug I've been avoiding a compression test like the plague. I don't think I want to know the awful truth.....if it is the rings.
