Default Perplexed...LS1 POS

Anyone have a clue why I would make less power AFTER I have a custom PCM dyno tuning performed on my car? It was detonating with a new cam(I don't know how to calculate the lift and duration properly off the card) on relatively stock (fuel/timing) programing so I paid AGAIN for proper tuning. It's been fine AFA detonation but i just dynoed the car expecting more rwhp than B4 the tuning and it's off by 24rwhp and 14rwtq! Did these guys just back out some timing and lie their *** off to my face?

Any ideas?

You need to figure out why the car was detonating. If you had 93 octane gas with stock compression and timing and weren't over-heating, you had other issues to fix.

It's probably 11:1, I can't remember after the 2nd cam install. I know RP Motorsports (installers) milled the heads some. The whole reason for the cam swap from the ARE cam was the constant detonation...but that's a LONG 2 year old saga you don't want to hear about.

Jim ...

I can't stand it no longer! Can you tell us who the Rocket Scientist was who did your PCM programming?

If you feel like not answering that, how bout just e-mailing me?
