What is the biggest cam and are the biggest valves that you can have on a stock cube LS1 without having to touch the bottom end? I was thinking about getting ported LS6 heads with either 2.08 or 2.02 intake valves and 1.6 exhaust valves with the X1 cam. Will there be clearance? Can the heads be milled any? Or should I go with a cam that's a little smaller? Thanks for any info.

I would look towards a 2.02/1.56, valved head, making highest possible flow without a huge intake runner. This combination will create a high intake velocity which will make great power on a stock cubed engine with the right cam and bolt-ons. I would recommend you talk personaly with Brian Tooley at TEA(link in sponsor area to the right), and see what he recommends. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

you can get 2.055/1.60 valves in a stock bore. A big cam doesn't always mean big power.
Check out this thread, it's on LT1 engines but it applies.
