How do the GM CNC LS6 heads compare to the average Stage 2 LS1 head?

19.0 mm VS the LS1s 19.7 mm
That .7 mm equals .028"
Both engines use the same 7.40" pushrod

I guess I spoke kinda too soon. I do know someone who is running these heads. I forgot what cam he said he was running. I dont know what kinda power he is putting down, but I can tell you that NA he is running high 10's @124 MPH, in a car that weighs around 3400?? I witnessed the runs myself. I dont think he has the car intended as a street car as much as a strip car.
I wonder why they are milling the heads, and why you cant get just a plain one with the assembled valves? That sucks.

SDPC sells GM ported LS6 heads for $980 per head fully assempbled!
Unfortunatly, they are milled .055 and the chambers are reduced so I assume the compression would be very high for street use....

The heads are brand spanking factory NEW not used like other ported heads and the transaction does not require the buyer to return a core or pay a core charge.
Unbeatable you say? Only is someone can assure me this combo would work on a street machine burning pump gas....
