Default how high can you rev

how high can you rev a ls1 bottom end what are they good for my heads and cam are good to shift at 6800

I had my revlimiter at 6800 for over a year and never had issues, but I'd keep it as low as possible if you can. If it makes sense to shift earlier definitly do so. These LS1's have been known have rod bolt failures from time to time so I'd be cringing at anything over 6800.

i'd stay with 6600 or lower shift points on a stock bottom end.

The motor in my daily driver is good to 9k. It was designed to run to 10k, but they dropped the limit when it went into production.
