I dont liek em. One set of heads with 227 cc runner and those valves gets beaten up to .500 lift by a good amount by heads that cc 231 on th intake with 2.02s. Thats the jist of wwhat ive seen without getting into details about who did what <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Call Craig at GTP, he swears by the 2.02 1.57 combo for stock cubes the way he does his ports, and no other sponsors on this board surpass his work.

Craig at GTP uses these valves in his SIII 5.3L heads and I can get a set really cheap that's why I ask if they're too big. Thanks.

There is at least one other sponsor on this board that has come a long way in porting techniques and styles that is very competitive with GTP in terms of flow numbers and power.

I never said 'no one else was comparable', or 'GTP has no equals', I just said no one outdoes Craig from what I have seen.

FWIW, my motor seems to make decent hp with the little 2.02"/1.57" valves in my heads. That's with a larger than stock 4.100" bore, as well.
