Noisy lifter solution?

I don't know anything about aditives, but my feeling is that you might want to be careful about trying to "get rid of the noise". It could be that the way the aditive get rid of the noise is by gumming up the internals (thus taking up slack). In time though I would think this would prevent the lifter from keeping slack out of the valve train.
I would say just go with a really good synthetic oil and be happy that everything is working.
