They're not plug n play. You'll have to get the crank re-balanced since the Eagles are around 50 grams heavier than stock. Also being .002" longer I don't know if a stock piston could be used since they stick out of the hole already

Actually the stock rods are 6.098" and the Eagle h-beams for the LS1 are 6.100"
The Lunati stuff can take whatever you can throw at it

I know a place that sells them cheaper than that....i dont know if there are "ls1" specific eagles but most of the foreign H-beam rod manufacturers (eagle/CAT/Scat/Elgin/etc) are all just as good as the other, they just all need a good rod bolt

The SBC H beam rods are cheaper, but the LS1 specific rod are different. The only place Ive found them was Jegs online. They arent in the current cataloge yet. They want $600 for them. They are floating pin 6.1" with ARP bolts with a .927 wristpin. Heres a pic:

The eagle H beam rods I got for my car were small block chevy 6.125 inch. I just got custom JE pistons and got everything balanced. I think I got my rods for about 450 also.

I'm with BLOWNMERO, i did the same except i used Custom Diamond Racing pistons. Cheaper than LS1 Specific stuff, and if your gonna buy pistons, might as well buy the best, never had a problem with any of Diamonds Products, and i love it, cause they are like 5 mins from my house. hehe

I think that you will be happy with the Eagle rods. A lot of people use them and they have been around for a while. They are a great bang for your buck part.
