HRT 427 cubes, WOW!! Tech info & web link inside...Also new c/f C5R intake manifold..
Hi Guys,
There is now another LS1 factory supercar! Holden (Australia), HSV (Holden Special Vehicles) and HRT (Holden Racing Team) have developed and produced an awesome LSX powered, er, C5R actually,
427 inch supercar, Monaro based, as in what you guys are getting shape wise in the 2004 Pontiac GTO. Details are:
427 C5R engine
cnc ported C5R heads
11.5:1 compression
Carbon Fibre manifold.
runs on 95 RON unleaded fuel
6 speed close ratio, triple syncho transmission
9" Ford diff (copy), in MAGNESIUM (housing), with 4.1 gears
Two racing seats, rollcage, deleted the rear seats, and radio and air conditioning!
Motec (Australia) digital dash, with separate starter button
Carbon Fibre (new Aussie design for manufacturing process) hood, aluminium spoiler, front air splitter, cold air intakes on hood.
18" Magnesium wheels
race brakes, 6 spot calipers, slotted rotors.
Weighs 3472 lbs
Built to sell to the general public!!
With a factory warranty...
How cool is this???
Any color you want, so long as its RED.
Go to their website, at either:
www.hsv.com.au
or
www.hsv.com.au/vy/showcars/main.asp
Guessing what it'll run anyone?
Let you know when the motoring magazine guys road test it when its out.
Cheers <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

You could get one here, but the port has to do some tests on it. Worst case, you will pay about $7000 to make it USA legal.

Yes, but registration would be hard, depending on the State I would think.
Whats the HP/TQ?
Don't know as yet, but when I find out, I'll post it! Should be awesome for a factory car.The 346cube LS1 Holden HSV pumps out 300kw (403HP) at the flywheel, so I'm guessing 420kw (563HP), with the added cubes, big heads, injection, compression, etc. My guesstimate. We'll see....

As above
How about just buying the parts, they will bolt in next years GTO, like the rearend, plus the manifold & heads etc will fit any
Camaro/Trans Am.
