[/qb][/QUOTE]the Harrop manifold has been used in the U.S for a while now in the C5 program....a fella by the name of Rob Benson from Race Engine Development was working in the U.S. on the Corvette thing and got the manifold up and going from his association with Harrop when he was doing a majority of the V8 Super Car engines... yours for AUD$15000...that's around US$7k.
my mail is it made around 420kw/563hp at 5400rpm on a Superflow Engine strainer before needing more injectors... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> Pays to know the right insiders... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
Camshaft? You fellas would laugh <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> [/QB][/QUOTE]

A production car with an intake manifold like that? Where's the maf and air filter(s)? Looks like its meant to just be a track car and maybe not legal for street use?

Wow. And I was just about to reply that in the previous engine pic, there was a gasket around the bottom and it probably just had a lid. Like the Mustang Cobra R intake had.
But now i see the intake seals to the hood??
And the air-boxes seal to the hood also???
That is different. <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />
And upon closer inspection; it appears to have the 8 seperate throttle bodies like the Kinsler injection....and I assume it does not use a MAF at all <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> I sure don't see one/two.

Guys, I think from memory that it runs a motec engine management system, which means no maf/mafs.

Is the block aluminum or iron?
If aluminum, think we'll be able to buy them cheap somewhere? (cheap meaning about what a LS1/LS6 block goes for, and not the $6000+ a C5R block goes for) Same goes for crank, pistons, rods, it'd be awesome if we could buy them for reasonable prices.

it is the c5r block, which means that you have to be related to bill gates to afford one, lol... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> .....back to my original question, does anybody know anything about that transmission...it sounds like a zo6 (m12) tranny thats bolted up like a normal tranny, not like a transaxle...anybody know anything at all??? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
