Default Rollmaster/ASP please help!!

I was unaware until about 30 mins ago that there might be a problem with these two mods working together. I was going to install my new setup today before I read this post
https://ls1tech.com/ubb/ultimatebb.p...=007609#000000
Is there a clearence issue between these two products and do I have to get the pulley machined? If you read through the whole post some have installed the pulley & rollmaster and have not had issues but I don't want to take my car apart and not be able to finish the job. Anyone that has this setup please help.

I believe that the rollmaster/ASP issue is with the ybody version of the pully. There have been numerous people sware and complain about it on the corvetteforum board.

I would have it milled to be on the safe side. I went ahead and did mine just in case and it worked out fine.

Still confused. Is there anyone out there that has this setup installed without the pulley being machined. What the worst that could happen if it is installed without it being machined?

I'm curious about this too. I'm assuming that the combination will fit, albeit very snug, on an F-body? Is this a correct assumption? The only thing I can think of (and I'm not claiming to be the brightest bulb in the box) is that if you don't mill the pulley, you might not be able to get it on all the way?

Anyone tried on an F-body and have it work without milling? Anyone?

Here's a link to a thread I just posted on another forum about what I did to prep for this mod on my C5.

The problem is only on the Ybody, if you wish to be cautious machine the flat edge that meets the seal .050. If you have any questions feel free and call me on monday at 908-317-4496 from 9-6 EST. good luck with the project. Dave Co owner of Cartek.
