Just trying to clear up some doubts. Has anyone ever seen factory LS6 valve springs with a touch of light blue paint on only two coils? I have new Comp 918's on my engine and they had a solid med. blue stripe on the entire length of the spring. To the best of my knowledge, all of the factory LS6 springs were yellow. I tried a search on blue stripe valve springs and only find the Comp 918's which as stated above I have purchased new in the past and am familiar with their appearance. The springs in question have very light blue to medium blue marks on the upper or lower 2 coils only.

Thanks! Exactly what I was looking for. I'll do a load check at 1.8 and just for curiosity I'll check some stock LS1 springs for comparison. I'll also check at multiple intervals up to .550 I bought some "new LS6 springs" from someone on the board and I have received 2 descriptions from the person so far as to what they are so I'd better check to be sure.
