What if a shop told you your rebuilt STOCK motor should not be taken to 5800RPM
If you had your STOCK motor rebuilt to STOCK specs, no mods at all (airlid only), now has a knock under high load conditions would you be upset?
Secondly, if the shop said you can't take it to RPMs greater than 5K, ever, would you be upset? Their claim is that it (the LS1 motor) is not designed to see those RPMs.
This is with stock revlimiter, et al.
