Default Adjustable timing chain???

I oredered my stage 2 heads from TEA this past week and i'm tyring to get everything ready for the install...just have one question right now...i'm either gonna use the hammer cam or the TR 224...is it completely necessary to go with an adjustable timin chain or is use of the stock one ok...i talked to a buddy the other day and he said that if the cam and heads worked well together that i wouldn't need to advance or retard the cam at all...just thought i'd ask before i go and do something silly...and how hard is this to adjust...seems like it'd be a lot of work to adjust this thing....any input to my question would be greatly appreciated...thanks guys

Adjusting the cam gear is not a simple process on our cars like it is on a DOHC Honda.

If you research your combo well enough you will not need to have adj gears. You can have the advance or retard ground right into the cam.
