Anyone running the ARE 346 forged longblock?
Not a bad price at all. $5990 for a forged bottom end and S2 h/c, ported tb, ect. Would make a monster with a direct port system. Anyone here have it? Wondering what kind of #'s it's putting out. Although the Rapid Motorsports site says it's new.

Yeah it's stock rods for that price and $600 more for Forged Rods.

Its a GREAT motor <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Ragtop has one in his convert running 11.5's@3800 pounds raceweight!!
My ARE 360 is the same thing with an offset ground stock crank and forged rods. (See sig for ET/MPH)
I think it is a great motor and dead reliable. I know all the machine shop/assembly guys at ARE and they are meticulous. I think you will love it!
Cheers,
Chris
