Default Milling a set of 5.7 heads

I am doing some minor machine work to my 5.7 heads and I am wondering how much i can mill off of them and not have to worry about piston to valve clearance. I am running a 224/224 581./581.
C2 cam. I will be leaving the stock valves in the heads. It is also a daily driver, so I dont want to get the compresson up to high.

Default Re: Milling a set of 5.7 heads

My heads are milled 0.040", the cam has 0.591" of lift, and I have no problems.
