H/C guys what are your engine temps?
I was running at normally at 185 degrees pretty much year round stock. Last week I had Stage2 heads/cam plus 160 thermo added. now reading 195 degrees steady. What are your temp's measured through scanmaster, autotap, etc?

Did your PCM get re-programmed and the fan settings changed? Generally speaking, the fans will determine the max temp you see. If they come on later, then the coolant temp will rise to meet the fan cut-on temp. Switching to a lower-temp thermostat will change the minimum temp you see.

The fans were reprogrammed. On the stock t-stat the engine would slowly come up to 185 and stay there summer or winter. With the new t-stat it comes up and stays at 195 with the ambient temperature in the 40's. These readings are coming from Scanmaster.

Well my temps vary between 178 and 184 depending on the outside temps and if I am doing city or highway driving. Highway it is 178 and city it is 184. When I turn the A/C on it varies between 184 and 202 in the city and stays right at 184 on the highway..
